July Campout in NW
Hey, anyone interested in a 3 day camping trip in July? I'm thinking the 3rd weekend or so. Fri. Sat. Head home on Sun.
I want to bring the wife and kids so a family friendly place would be great. It can be in the wilds with a spot that Hambone can find, or we can do the beach or State Park or whatever.
We can make a swing, dangle our feet in the creek and I guess have a few beers.
Just no chorizo in the sleeping bag.
Somewhere close is always nice, but my arm could be twisted into a 2-3 hour drive from P-town.

The best navigators aren't sure where they're going until they get there. And then they're still not sure.

July? I don't know what I'm doing on Tuesday...
If I had my way, I'd be back up in the Alaska area that time next year. But life will probably get in the way this time.

Hambone Springs? 2nd annual? It's a great place down a gnarly road. Very beautiful tho and plenty of room to stretch out.

Shhhh!!! I'm just glad I didn't eat any, I have heard that the "not chorizo" stuff is bad for the teeth. And just cause you see corn on your breakfast plate doesn't mean it's fresh corn.LiveonJG wrote:That sounds like fun. I'd be in.
Another thing, I know I was sworn to secrecy. I understand the consequences of what I am about to reveal.
THAT WAS NOT CHORIZO!

We would like to go as well, will have to give a definite yay or nay at a later date. Hambone springs looks like a great spot, who knows we might be a little closer to the area by that time.....

You know deep down inside that everything's fine. You're too careful to have screwed something up. IT WILL RUN!
