Nossir, like this one for 18-14 gauge, or this one for 22-18 gauge, or this one for 16-12 gauge, all of which I cut from the referenced page on Ratwell's site and pasted into Digi-Key's parts search tool. If you check out the engineering drawings on the datasheets for each of them, you'll see the little locking tab you are hoping for.Sluggo wrote:Like the one in this link. http://www.digikey.com/product-detail/e ... -ND/290327 but the tab at the top needs to be in the middle strip not the top.

Re: Where can I find wire disconnects with a tab?
THANKS!!!
They should include that key part in the main pic. Messed up that one of their techs said they don't carry it.
Colin,
Do you really want 50? 14-16 gauge or 10-12? I'm getting both.

Do you know how many bazillion different parts Digi-Key carries? Hardly surprising that their techs don't know it all.Sluggo wrote: They should include that key part in the main pic. Messed up that one of their techs said they don't carry it.
Before you go ahead and order these particular pieces, do a bit of homework, measure the dimensions of the ones you need to replace, and make sure that the ones Ratwell lists are correct for your application. They could be too long or short or too bulky or loose in the intended housing. There are LOTS of different sizes of these puppies.

Re: Where can I find wire disconnects with a tab?
Already ordered but I checked the dimensions on the spec sheet and these seem to be the ones I need. Thanks for the help.SlowLane wrote:Before you go ahead and order these particular pieces, do a bit of homework, measure the dimensions of the ones you need to replace, and make sure that the ones Ratwell lists are correct for your application. Oh, and in case anyone is interested, here is the Digi-Key link for the Junior Timer connector terminals used in our fuel injection harnesses.

Fuel injection terminals, they sound useful too for some of these ratty harnesses I am running into.

Then you might also find this little tool handy, if you don't already have one. I'm sure it must work much better than the jeweller's screwdriver I usually jam in there.Amskeptic wrote: Fuel injection terminals, they sound useful too for some of these ratty harnesses I am running into.
