Sounds like a PLAN. Man, Mark you an me think alike that was my preference all along but I wasn't gonna say anything...
46 to Cleator, then right turn across the bridge, go 3/4 mile and in the vincinity of 890 and 2231. EZ as PYE. I'll even put a couple lanterns near the road to make it obvious.
If the snow isn't bad, we'll be up 2231. If it's deep, we'll be closer to the bridge crossing.
Don't worry John you'll find us. We'll be someplace very obvious, either near the bridge or a mile down the road.
I'm gonna bring some Crown Royal, really liked Jasan's at our last campout.
I'm gonna try to take a pic of the map and post it, no more scanner these days.

Just a cold camping tip I have used with my weekender and sailboat cabin many times. Kind of Indian thinking that works. If you use, as I, a single burner propane stove out side, bring it in the cabin and place it low enough not to cause harm to wood celing, as in our"tin-top" westies. Crack open slider or jelosies to let cold air out and warm air circulate till replaced. Have tall unsented candles, as you see for alter types in glass. Very inexpensive, less than a buck apeice. I always buy plain white ones. Light as soon as the place gets cozy and place in the same safe low place you put the dangerous propane stove. Close tight windows and slider and these will burn for days without danger of fumes and keep the chill off. Not hot but comfortable. And close off cab infront, easy to do with any cloth or blanket using closepins or clamps if ya got em.
Female Sasquactes are rare and don,t like attack dogs so good luck on that for your warmth factor.

I'll find the place...

hammie,
I think you should take my lil buddy heater even if you don't use it. Just in case, y'know. You could also borrow my chainsaw, if'n ya want.
I will be there in spirit and in a show of solidarity i will strip down, go to the back yard late saturday night and howl at the moon so I can experience the bone chillin cold with yall.

So it all started when I wanted to get better gas mileage....

We still lookin' at 2231 as the road to take?
I've got the radio on ch2, ready to go...
Called the hotsprings resort today to see about some day use, they want $12-25 and reservations are recommended, Saturday is already full. I was interested in stopping there on the way out to warm up, but not that interested.

2231! That's the one. Then it branches and crosses a couple creeks. Hopefully there will be a nice spot at a creek but we'll have to see.
We'll put up signs and lanterns to direct you guys.
There is that abandoned hot spring nearby, hope it's not too bad. That would be fun.
I'm 75% packed, just have to run and get some groceries and tire chains. Sure is wet out there.
