My 1971 VW bus, for reasons that I still cannot fathom, is running fine.
Imagine that!
The new carb is behaving itself (Thanks, Keith).
The new, very expensive, auxiliary battery gizmo from a certain, unnamed shop in Toronto has been proven to be defective and has been swapped out with another brand at great expense. (much to the amusement of the mechanics)
The new highbeam light relay has been replaced for one that is not defective.
I did manage to snap the CB antenna though. Have to have that replaced.
Otherwise, I am good to go. And I can hardly wait. I nearly peed in my pants, I am so excited. Bus camping!

And, that next round is: June 12-14 along the Feather River. For details, see: http://www.landscapelegacy.com/Train_Sp ... lcome.html. Contact me if you have any questions.
It sure was fun by the Bussin' River! Thanks to Brett & Elizabeth for a rockin' good time! We don't hold you accountable for the heat wave and our first sunburn of the season.
Cheers, volks!

There were two Circus tents, and one Riviera tent. I gotta tell ya, I love that thing if I'm camping for more than a day. Extra room, able to get my crap out of the van, It just makes it feel like... home. Maybe I'm weird that way.

Side note to anyone browsing though that photo set. There is a 71 Adventurewagen with 100K original miles on it in detailed photos in the set. The owner is a VW restorer, he's selling it and asking 8K. PM me if you want contact info.
