It uses stove alcohol and is poetry in motion. And makes an amazing cup of coffee.
Beautiful, I'd roll with that at my 7,000 square foot summer cottage out at the pool promenade station.

Ha. I guess it is a bit froufrou for camping, but it would be functional, being genuinely off-the-grid ready. But Starbuck's instant coffee is also quite good, if all you want to do is boil water.
I have tried Starbucks Verano and a cup-sized press. A little too unfiltered. What I want to do is come up with an instantaneous heat exchanger that gives me genuine hot water. A copper coil around the exhaust manifold would do it ... :blackeye:
I never tire of telling people about an old friend's ex UK Forestry Commission Landrover 110. It had a neat sink with tap fed by water from a tank located somewhere in the engine bay. The whole thing was hidden behind a small door on the front fender. It allowed workers to wash up with hot water before driving home!

Well, watercooling allows some temperature modulation. My 718* exhaust pipes would likely cause a super-heated steam explosion ... and shattered pieces of manifold falling off of the car at the first bump.

Now be honest, not all of your engagements are that tidy and well organized.

I find that magnificent scene probably the single greatest picture I have ever taken of a work day.

I am eternally grateful for your banzai run back from Chicago to allow arrival of the new clutch disk and getting everything back together. Your enthusiasm and leadership in dividing up the sub-tasks for my kids to participate was also a joy.
