Yes, thank-you. Belle Plaine was surprised at all the packages awaiting me at his house.
Me? It was like Christmas.

Yes, everyone, please send me all of Colin's tools that happen to get left behind. I'll take good care of them until he arrives (next year). And I'm glad the beer I forwarded to whc03grady was well received. It's highly possible you two were the only Volkswagen mechanics in Livingston, MT drinking Spotted Cow. That can't be said for any other similarly sized town in Wisconsin.

I would guess that liquor store next to County Market in Hudson WI makes a living selling Spotted Cow to Minnesotans.

Did you get the drag link installed by the deadline? :blackeye:

I was solemnly assured it would turn into a pumpkin after 10 days.
The new one, a Febi, arrived Friday and will be installed, gods willing, this week.

May your anti-sieze compound and plentiful proper appositives be in your favor.

Amen.
And please let us know how you find the Febi drag link quality (from where did you get it?)
I installed a Meyle last year and found it no better than the VW one that was replaced...so I re-replaced VW and it's still doing better than the new Meyle.

Meyle seems to have thin boots that crack in a year. OEM boots on the BobD are still good after 37 years . . .

These boots aren't made for walkin'.
Cripes! Can't we get any decent parts anymore?!

True, that stuff is nearly as ubiquitous as CocaCola here!

As a West Coast transplant from Madison, I need to sign up for this New Glarus delivery system you guys have. For all the brews you can get away from home, New Glarus doesn't seem to be interested in distribution anywhere outside of WI.

I have a Westfalia stool (no bucket) - correct for the earlier Westfalia I believe (there is the blue plaid hiding under the black vinyl recovering) available to trade for a case of Berliner Weisse. :flower:

Kris,

Get thee to Pacific City, OR for this: http://www.yourlittlebeachtown.com/pelican

There is nothing better than what that guy makes. FWIW, his first professional brewing experience came from a brewery in, I believe, Appleton, WI.

As always, the west is the best. Don't let Colin and these other guys pull the (l)east coast wool over your eyes.

I have no dog in this hunt. I have overwhelmed my beer quota for the year by ten times over . . .
