Perhaps your sproglet will grow up someday to fit right in with this bunch of smart alecks who will still be looking for initial interest gauges . . . may I remind them that these gauges *must* be properly compensated for renumerative reasons and don't forget, bias, especially if the junction is expected to be cold.

You can count on me for a day whenever you make it up to the Seattle area.

If it were tomorrow, it would be air/fuel ratio tuning, but I expect (hope) to have enough time to finish that before you would arrive. If you're not up to the Pacific Northwest until the summer or fall, it may be installing a rebuilt transmission. Of course, with Greta, the list is long, so the options for work are numerous. Once I know your schedule, I can probably hone in/commit to something more precisely.

Plan on rebuilt transmission installation . . . you guys are only getting a visit at your maximum annual temperature peak this year . . . I earned it after Bellingham last summer.

I think the main seal is good. I'll get back under there and take another look after it warms up. I do have a leak at the oil strainer but I just didn't get the gasket sealed after the last oil change.

The exhaust manifold flanges are still leaking. There just isn't any surface left. I had a little store credit saved up so I ordered a pair with rebuilt flanges.

A link to the Deposits/Details page was just emailed to the Twin Cities VW Bus Group. I hope that we can build on last year.

I'm still on board, just trying to figure out when you're coming through Oregon, Hood River to be exact. I want to make sure I'm going to be around and not out in far away places in the Bus!

I'll stick your name in the soup up there. I must attend a wedding in New York on September 20th. It has required a massive pivot to the schedule . . . like this:
late April into May: New Jersey/Maryland/Virginia/Carolinas/Georgia
June: Texas/New Mexico/Arizona/California
early July: Nevada/Utah
late-July: Oregon/Washington
early August: Idaho/Montana/Minnesota
late August: Illinois/Indiana/Michigan
September: upstate New York/Vermont/Maine
October: Connecticut/downstate New York/New Jersey/Maryland

Hey Colin-

Yes, it has been a brutal winter here to be sure. Please put me in for September. I will contact Waterdawg today as I am sure he will want an appointment too.

List is forthcoming, but weeks away since we are buried under snow and the bus is still in hibernation.

So glad to see the Itinerary up.
I've been waiting since October 23rd for you to "see" my bus. Even though you saw it before it was my bus. =D>
I'm less than an hour North of Tim (aka AOPISA) right off Rt 30 on Lake St. Catherine in Poultney, VT.
Two Car garage, large level lot can accommodate a dozen buses :thumbleft:
What ever works for you, I'll make it work for us.

Sandy has been anxiously awaiting the final melt off of snow.
We'd also be open to bring both buses here for a two day visit in one spot to save you travel time.

I have your list safely saved in my 2014 Itinerary Folder.

Please read up on the vapor barrier replacement in the Body/Hardware Forum. It will give you an interesting new perspective on water incursion through the extractors in your doors.
