Near death experiences change things though. All the crap we invent in our heads instantly evaporates.

A very good thing.

Statistically, every day is a near-death experience. Some are more apparent than others. If a near-death experience causes you to change your life, so much the better... but the real question is "why were you doing X anyway, if that isn't what you want to die doing?"

I teach; I kind of hope I keel over doing it. Not too soon, though.

I am completely disgusted with The Samba mods - they were looking for an excuse to lock your thread - and found a pretty lame one IMHO!

Anyway my 77 won an award - but it was inferred that I got it because of all the BS I have put up with in the restoration of my 23 Window. Which will be in paint by the end of November

So I guess you won't be coming back through Tejas this year? :pale:

I haven't read the forums there in some time. After reading that response to his thread now I see why.
It's a shame because most forum members over there have real respect and dignity, and it is a great technical resource. Anything else, not so much...

Yeah you're right. But the way they responded to Colin was upsetting.

Me I think. I was sorta being a bitch but I cleaned up my previous post a bit. But the sentiment still stands.

Patience, dear, patience... it will come, never mind those silly fools over there. One can state one's desires, but no one is likely to call unless one also goes seeking.

Wow. Must have been that stunning timing scale nail polish . . .

I was asking about the 23-window in another thread, and here you go, look forward to seeing the results.

I may very well be in Tejas shortly, like within two to three weeks . . . :cyclopsani:
