I'd like to get up there Thursday evening since I'll have to take off sometime Saturday again.
Chorizo, it's what's for breakfast.

Maybe. And a paint scraper if you have one. A small ladder?
Hal, do you remember if any of the exterior boards need replacing besides the lower one we fixed last year? Or should we just say to hell with it at this point and paint the sucker and be done with it?
Funny, all this hooplah and we'll be done in a couple hours. But I do look forward to having a kid-free weekend, it's been a full-service summer.

Wishin' I could make this one...sounds like it will be a good one! On the river for 4 days otherwise I'd put this on my radar. Have fun you guys! Ladders, paint brushes, scrapers and all

Geez Mark you've been a much missed phantom this summer. Hope you've had a good and profitable year.

Four days on the river being paid to guide trophy fishing hopefuls, rough, on the job giving urbanites a "wilderness experience" and making sure they don't die, kinda "Green Cascadia", but without the white water rafting and fishing? There's a correlation there somewhere.

I'm going to make this one, hopefully Friday. Now where the heck is it? So far all I got is past the clackamas ranger station, keep left not to Timothy Lake on the right.

I may be able to go Thursday nite but still NOT SURE yet geesh.

Directions:
OR 224 thru Estacada, past Ripplebrook.
LEFT on 57
Just BEFORE 57 turns to gravel -
LEFT on 58
Climb like a mofo to 4610 at High Rock.
There is a 4 way junction.
Turn LEFT down the lesser gravel road #190. Do not climb past the junction.
(climbing LEFT takes you to Hambone, RIGHT continues on 58. Don't do it.)

I think it's about 3 miles to the camp. It's directly on the road so you can't miss it. I'll be wearing something low-cut and shockingly revealing.

You lost me at the three way junction. Is that at the intersection of 58 and 4610?

Thanks,

Turn left at the jct, but not the climbing left turn. It will make sense.

Don't remember if there's any boards that need replacing .. should I bring some just in case?

Brush(es), roller(s) would be good to bring. And gloves.
