Family Retreat

Post by Gypsie » Wed Dec 01, 2010 10:48 pm

So I took my family up to the mountains to a place called Breitenbush Hotsprings. It is an intentional community that lives in a village across the river and runs the HotSprings facility. They host gatherings of all sorts offering the exquisite tranquility of deep woods with the special treat of Geothermal waters with great soaking places. Three squares of tasty vegetarian fare. Movement and mind enrichment programs. Great place to uncoil.

Check it out. If you get a chance, go.

Anyway I wanted to share some pix.

Did I mention Tranquility?

Off to the Lodge to find out what we want to do next...or snooze in the library...or both.

This is what I came for. It's what it is really all about.

This was my favorite shot from the trip. Pure eye candy.

So it all started when I wanted to get better gas mileage....

Nice Stephan. Been wondering how you guys were doing.
I've never considered staying at Breitenbush. Are the rates reasonable? Looks like a nice relaxing place.
Chorizo, it's what's for breakfast.
