Weekend of the 23rd-25th looks golden right now on my ever-changing calendar. I've penciled it in and will do my darndest to steer potential clients to other dates. Let's plan on it! I'll post directions to the White River camp as the date approaches. Mmmm, sausages......

It's funny how you crazies miss all the lovely warm summer kamps for the dreariness of Autumn. :geek:
It's ok, really. My favorite time to camp actually. Keeps all the touristas home snugglin'.

Mark, weren't ya worried about hunters snaggin the White River spot?

Anywhere we camp in the Nat'l forest has potential of being claimed by hunters. Unless we're gunning for a barren spot with no wildlife :geek:

Yeah, and a few plan "C"'s. There is disbursed camping everywhere in the area I'm thinking.

Anyone ever get a hankerin' for going back to South Pyramids again. Huckle/Salmon berries, nice roads, big area for a bunch of buses, abandoned trails. I know it is a bit longer drive, but that sure was a nice spot.

Maybe we can have a kid-camp there in early October? I would go back there.
