January 2010 Snow Camp?

Post by hambone » Thu Nov 19, 2009 1:42 pm

Whattya think? Crazy?
2010 is crazy enuff as it is. FUTURISTIC.
(I saw an ancient Tibetan font on PBS last nite, thousands of years old but it looked ultra-modern. The past the past, what the heck is it? Were the neanderthals enlightened? Is my cat? How do you work this pen? Wait wait no I'll come with you willingly let me just get my things.)

Ohhhhkay thanks for that, hambone. Back to the subject at hand. You guys want to camp in the snow? (this is supposed to be a TROUTtm event however).

Sounds great Bob! A little cold maybe but we're tough. HEY how did all you guys get in here? Nice to see you.

If a bus campout happens in the woods and no one shows up, does it make a sound? is it the same sound as one Hambone clapping in the snow?

If it happens, probably somewhere in the MHNF. The jury is still (apparently) out! Lots of lookin down at shufflin' feet. Mumbles.

I guess I don't know what MHNF stands for.
When ever things are set to go let me know.
I have nothing to keep me from a camping trip.

MHNF= Mt. Hood National Forest.

I'm game depending on what weekend gets decided on. I'm not afraid of a little snow.

Jan 15-17 is busses by the bridge weekend, but that is waaay down south of here and is in the "sun shine" and 85 degs.
I think that would be a good weekend (unbusses by the bridge).
If it isn't like last year and I was snowed in for two weeks that is.

On the weekend before BBB there will be a bus campout in Death Valley.
