Silvio Barbossa was one such soul. He was swimming in the Amazon River when he went head to head with the tiny parasite

So to speak......that makes me want to curl up in a ball in the corner and rock back and forth.
Chorizo, it's what's for breakfast.

Another gem from Silvio.
I was very afraid, because the candirú bites.
Ya think?

Hey Neil, if you're still with us, are these edible or poisonous?

I'm gonna guess Armillaria mellea, "Honey Mushrooms", but that is likely incorrect.

Could be. I've never id'd the honeys. Nothing I'm positive is edible, but that means nothing. Not Matsutaki, not Chantrelle, not King Bolete. I'm better at knowing what something isn't. Honeys are supposed to be pretty darn edible.

Just curious.. did you find those mushrooms near the "chorizo?"
The best navigators aren't sure where they're going until they get there. And then they're still not sure.

Oh, I forgot the other segment of our breakfast:

Roberto's Huevos alla chorizo, commonly known as the menstrating turd.

Suffice it to say I ran across them after making my own "chorizo".

Is it now coming clear why we provide bathrooms and don't allow open fires at the Deschutes RendezVW? I'm checkin' Gypsie's cooler at the entrance this year :geek: .
