I may or may not have a vehicle, and I still have to pry out of my mom what the big plans are for the weekend. =\

Hammy...those temps say rain. And...I don't really give a rip. I'll come prepared with shelter. Can't wait!

These guys get creative. Believe me. Besides, an adventure is just an inconvenience rightly considered. What better way to have an epic adventure than to camp in incredibly inconvenient weather? Stories will be told. Memoirs will be penned. Ballads will be written. Myths will be born and grow.

Wish I could be there.

Raincoats, rainhats, wool everything, a fire, and then abandoned trails all over the place, under 800 year old trees, shedding lichens and moss in the snowflakes, and then the world ends you know. Did I mention the ghosts of dead rangers making a ham in that long gone cabin?
And then of course the Clackamas, regal green in her bent course FAT with winter.
And finally a snug bed in a half-century beast from some far off land, but more American at this point, really. With the rain and snow tapping that old steel hat.

Vigor!

When you've grown up in the NW you learn to not let a little rain get in your way. It's all about having the right gear.

Jasan ... what's your plan? I'm in ... can't wait ... in the words of my youngsters ... "we laugh at the weather!" ... they stole the quote from me, but they use it often ... they're kinda bummed they're staying home on this one ... but I'm ready for a campy trip with the grownups. Gonna be a memorable HOOT!

I'd rather be in 25° weather with snow. That kind of heat is just oppressive.
