Google says you can take White River Rd in. Is that road too rough? It's less distance from Portland.

Follow Hammy's directions. That White River Road will save you NO time.

I'll be there sometime Friday afternoon. Hope it's better weather than here. I'm resenting that little 68° tease the other day after waking up to three inches of snow this morning.
Chorizo, it's what's for breakfast.

Hope you can, Sluggo. Miss hanging out with ya! What time are you thinking of heading out?
I still hope to make it out there Thursday morning, I guess it depends on the weather.

Any time after 9:00, I'm flexible. Not too late though, I'm itchin ta get out.

I get it from the NWS, you can pinpoint an area on the map:
http://www.wrh.noaa.gov/pqr/

Believe it or not, this is pretty typical for our Badger Creek trips. You get every weather possible besides tornadoes.

I updated the forecast, it has slightly improved. Come on warmer weather! 50 deg. isn't bad really. Cold nites though!

Thursday: A chance of rain. Snow level 2700 feet. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 47.
Thursday Night: A chance of rain and snow showers. Snow level 2300 feet. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 27.

Friday: A slight chance of rain and snow showers. Snow level 2500 feet. Partly sunny, with a high near 48.
Friday Night: A chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 29.

Saturday: A slight chance of showers. Partly sunny, with a high near 48.
Saturday Night: A chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 28.

Sunday: A chance of rain. Partly sunny, with a high near 52.

Looking like low snow for NW Oregon overnight, supposed to be gone by mid morning. No telling what to expect out there. Be sure to bring chains and plenty of warm clothes. Firewood if you have it.
Of course NEXT weekend looks to be very nice weather.
But of course we are all nuts. See you out there! Man I have a ton to do today...

Fueled up last night. Filled the propane tank. Bought two little green coleman propane canisters for back-up. Will start packing clothes tonight.
Chains, yes. Sitting by the bus. Must make mental note to put them in the bus.
