Sorry. I'll be there mid morning. I'm thinking 10 ish, but if I make it there by noon I'll be happy.

I didn't setup a booth like I had hoped. I'm still debating if should bring some stuff and pay for a booth when I get there. It's only 25 bucks. Any thoughts. I've never been to a swap meet before.

Do we want to make plans for beer and dinner?
I think we'll prolly bring some fresh bratwurst for dinner and a small variety of tasty brews open for trade.

I'm still in the "unsure" category. We had some plans that might be falling through which would allow me to get up there.

If not the camping, I'll probably swing by the car show for a bit.

I might be arriving later than expected. I found a 71 Squareback for sale and I think I may just check it out on Saturday...

I haven't thought about dinner yet - Is anyone going to have a grill? If there is a grill I will probably bring some burgers or brats but if not I may just make myself a sandwich (hmmmmmm sandwich) and some sides. I am not a beer drinker but I will have some gin and tonic and perhaps a little tequila if I dont finish it before Saturday.
I'm all out of ideas and I've tried nothing.

I'm off the meat, so I'm not sure what I'll bring for dinner. I do know that I'll be bringing beer.

We are veggies and the wife is Vegan, so we can do a no-meat entree to compliment the brats. Should be fire pits, but I am thinking of tying a regular mini bbq to the roof for grilling. Beer is a no brainer, should we go with a midwest micro brew theme?

PS: Loco, bring the square, matt bring the g and t.

We are meat eaters! I'll probably bring some burgers, beer, and a bottle of red wine. I wish I had a line on a place that sold midwest micro beers in the city.

Have you been to that place on Clark, I think it's around Lunt? Rogers Park Liquors? They have a nice selection. Although there's nothing wrong with the Trader Joe's beer. Bring your bottle opener sandles.

Lookin forward to meeting you all this weekend. Seems like I have known some of your username personalities for quite some time- it will be nice to put a face with a name. Oh btw I am normal , not some type of character you would find in the shining. Here's Johnny!

Sadly, I didn't get to witness you toppling over. Maybe if you'd made it to Badger Creek. The Gypsie is either on or off, they say.

So I emailed the guy about getting a booth. This is his response:

No pre-registration needed - you can show up between 7 and 8:30 on Sunday and see Dave Ahrens. He's supervising the swap area.

See you Sunday!!!

I'm going to bring some stuff to sell/swamp if anyone is interested.
