A little bit...it's been hard to get out. You know how winter can be, gray skies and short days. Looking forward to spring! :flower: :flower: :flower:

I hear ya - winter can be long. Would you believe it is in the 60's here right now. We had 8 inches of snow pack melt overnight saturday and now they are forecasting rain and flooding for tonight. I'd much rather have the snow and cold than this little tease - and the dog keeps tracking in mud every time she comes in.
I'm all out of ideas and I've tried nothing.

I can't believe we're gonna be camping in this icy-fog-shiat....crimeny cripes I'm sitting a werk right now with my coat and hat on, just can't seem to get warm this winter. STRESS is also a playah, but I digress.

It will be nice to camp in the warm sunshine again, won't it? Seems like a million years in the future! But the marbles roll on in their galactic dance and we fleas wait on the back of the hawg, waiting waiting waiting.........

Bah:
THE COLDEST WEATHER OF THE SEASON ARRIVING EARLY THIS COMING
WEEK ACROSS SOUTHWEST WASHINGTON AND NORTHWEST OREGON..

MODIFIED ARCTIC AIR WILL SPREAD INTO SOUTHWEST WASHINGTON AND
NORTHWEST OREGON LATE SUNDAY AND SUNDAY NIGHT...AND CONTINUE OVER
THE AREA MONDAY THROUGH TUESDAY AND INTO AT LEAST WEDNESDAY. THE
COLD TEMPERATURES WILL BE ACCOMPANIED BY CLEARING SKIES AND RATHER
STRONG EAST AND NORTHEAST WINDS ESPECIALLY SUNDAY NIGHT THROUGH
TUESDAY.

THE COLD AIR WILL CAUSE MORNING LOWS TO FALL INTO THE TEENS AND
LOWER 20S ACROSS THE INLAND VALLEYS DURING THE FIRST HALF OF NEXT
WEEK...WITH 20S AT THE COAST...AND SINGLE DIGITS IN THE CASCADES.
WINDS MAY KEEP SOME TEMPERATURES UP IN THE 20S ON MONDAY MORNING.
BUT THE WINDS WILL CAUSE WIND CHILLS IN THE VALLEYS TO REACH INTO
THE SINGLE DIGITS...AND IN THE GORGE AND IN THE CASCADES BELOW
ZERO AT TIMES.

AFTERNOON HIGH TEMPERATURES COULD STRUGGLE TO GET MUCH ABOVE
FREEZING INLAND FROM THE COAST...WITH LOWER 20S IN THE HIGHER
CASCADES.

BE SURE TO TAKE ANY PRECAUTIONS NECESSARY TO PREPARE FOR THIS
CHANGE TO MUCH COLDER WEATHER.

Well shiat. No yurts available for Saturday night. I might still come over for the day. I'll bring the tires with me if I do Mike. If not you want to swing by on your way home and grab 'em?

The first year I was at Nehalem...during the hurricane force winds and rain..there was a young couple camped next to me in a tent. They seemed to fare just fine :geek: :geek: :geek:

We'll miss you Jasan...yer kinda a Nehalem fixture by now.

The sign at the entry to the campground should read: Abandon all hope yee who enter here. A29?

You're as doomed as the rest.
