Barb, that is Gypsies set up I think. You can get the smaller tanks from various outdoor stores. Here is a five pound tank like the one in the photo on Amazon. I have an 11lb tank which is the same diameter only taller. They work great for anything that takes the 1lb disposable tanks with an addition of the extension hose. It also cuts down on the waste of the disposable 1lb cylinders.

Based on the Vanagon cluster, I'll guess that belongs to Gypsie.
That size tank is easy to find, I know Home Despot carries them, and probably most places that have camping and/or RV supplies. You'll need to get an adapter to connect it to your appliances. I have the next size up, but the smaller size can fit under the z-bed. It's the way to go though because no more disposable bottles!

Im thinking they may not have the safty on them for refilling. California has a law, at least in my area and I had to replace my 5 gal one I use for my hot water in cabin about 2 yrs ago. It is really heavy for me to get from my bus to hook up, but I manage. When I was shopping last year for supplies for long trip I went to many big-box stores and camping supply places and never saw anything but the 1 gal ones. So I need to do some reserch because those little ones are so wastefull. I pay $3.55 +tax for propane in the 5 gal one that last about one month. I need to get a better plan.

All of the new upright tanks must have the new updated overflow safety valve on them so you should be fine even in California. I just recently had mine filled and had no problems.

Thats good news Jason xoxox and I ment to say I pay $3.55 +tax a gallon not for 5 gals. If I had the 3 gal ones I could not only use them for camping and cooking out side here. But could get them refilled down the hill a lot more reasonable. FWI - there was a 200 gal tank on this property when I moved here 13 yrs ago. Service policy changed and you had to pay for full tank to have truck come to refill. Only was for hot water heater, no stove or heaters inside, so I told them to remove it. And kinda said Shove -it , if I remember right

If your bus is equipped with a propane tank, install a T BEFORE the regulator, and run a hose to your Coleman appliance(s). Works great! Or, the 5lb or 10lb bottle is the alternative. I hate those throw-away canisters...what a waste. The 5lb canister is nice and small and will get you through several trips (depending of course on the length of trip and usage).

Never used that kit. Looks interesting though.

Don't need the small bottles if you go with old school white gas lantern, and they don't hiss loudly like their propane bretheren.

OK Im confused now about the size of Gypsies and the ones on Amazon.
I can tell in Erins picture what size it is approx. but the amazon says it is 5 lbs. ??? Not 5 gals??? I know my tank I use for hot water heater is called a 5 gallon and it is heavy for me when full. What is the proper way to tell what they hold? And Gypsie I too almost ordered one of those adapter things awhile back but was awaiting feedback from someone on here that had bought one and not used it yet. Wanted to know how you would know if it was full or more importantly if you could overfill and blow it up Also what if you did not have a 20gal tank as the ad says??? I guess one of us needs to do some testing and spend the bucks. Sorry it won,t be me, propane scares me

I use a white gas camp stove and kerosene lanterns. You know how I am.
