Or, easier yet, someone coming in Friday can grab them. Worst case is several of us pick them up and we have a BUNCH.

If it's Friday I'll still pick them up. For some reason I thought I remembered you saying Thursday was the delivery day.
Chorizo, it's what's for breakfast.

Nope. As far as I know Friday is the day. If they have any already shucked...I prefer those...otherwise I'll happily accept whatever shows up. Looking forward to the weekend! Hopefully the forecast holds! Could be absolutely perfect.

Have fun, y'all. Got snared by work, both Saturday and Sunday.

Nehalem seems to be an every-other-year thing for me anyway, and I was there last year so ...

Are we going to try and organize items to bring for the potluck? I think we did last year but really sure.

I don't recall whether we really planned anything out or not. I wouldn't stress too much about it...just bring a wide variety of really good stuff Snap and we'll be set :geek: . No, seriously...it will work itself out I'm sure...lots of good food will end up on the table on its way to our stomachs. Not sure what I'm bringing yet. Maybe a bag of peanuts....... or a box of Twinkies.

We'll be steaming fresh mussels 2 ways (one involves beer) and making mozzarella stuffed, bacon wrapped meatballs which I promise I will not burn this year.

I'll likely bring my nearly world-famous (in the greater Maupin area anyway) guacamole. Why change tradition.

I'm thinking π.
The best navigators aren't sure where they're going until they get there. And then they're still not sure.

Slowly starting to get things together! Went out to check points and timing yesterday as it's been a while....was very pleased to find that the points AND timing were spot-on and needed no adjustment! I love it when that happens. Lubed the front end while I was at it. Now packing non-perishables. Can't wait!

Did you pack something for the Raccoons? They are leaning toward salty this year rather than sweet. But they'll take anything in a pinch.
