I am planning a weekend at IL Beach, but haven't set a date yet. I'm also open to other locations later in the summer.

I was thinking some driving would be good. Maybe head down to Bloomington, IN and crash VWBusrepairman's party.

It's not only in WI.
You think those little hitchhiker's only stay behind the Cheddar Curtain?
I'm up for something after Labor day though.

Don't forget MN! I don't know if I have the confidence to drive my bus very far (tuning is getting better all of the time!) but after looking at the RendezVW pix I really would like to be a part of something like that.

I know this is kind of last minute, but I'm going to Mackinaw City over the 4th of July weekend. I just booked a KOA. If anyone is interested in a caravan. It's going to be me, my squeeze, and my pooch. Then, all the fudge and t-shirts you can shake a stick at on Mackinac Island. If you haven't been, it's worth the trip. Bring your bike. No cars allowed on the Island.
It's an 500 mile trip one way from Chicago.
