I'll attend, but only if someone promises to kidnap me and then contact my wife, tell her if she ever wants to see me alive again, she must sell our Arizona home, pack up my bicycles and the rest of our stuff (but primarily the bicycles) and move to Oregon.

Velo, that can be arranged. A covert operation of three or four IAC agents and you could be living in the most bike friendly city in the country.

This is something Colin & I were already talking about. I was thinking around the Oregon / California border. That way it will be somewhat central to the west coast. And maybe one on the East Coast since Colin is over there.

Westy, you're right- no other city or town in the US comes close to PDX's bike-friendliness. :) Except maybe Santa Ana, CA.

That was on my mind also. Both points. I remember some great primitive camping areas when I was through the Redwoods years ago but now can't recall exactly where they were. The south central oregon in the high desert has some beautiful areas also. Around the Diamond Lake region maybe?

This brings another question up. Primitive camping or state campground with all the ammenities? I can easily do either but something about primitive camping with a gaggle of busses is really appealing. Hey what should a group of busses be called?

I say we go primitive!! A forest service campground would work just great....find a group site somewhere. What would everyones driving limit be for a weekend? 4 to 5 hour drive max?

What do you call a bunch of turtles bunched together? A school?
