Looks like it's just me! Jasan has to stay in town too due to family issues....
Wow the first ever Hambone-only IAC Camp Trip. I'm like Sasquatch-Colin.
It's gonna be sorta weird but what the hell life is too short to miss such opportunities. I can sit home and bask in the clutter and noise ANY day.

Welp, it still wasn't a Hambone-only IAC campout; I crashed the site .. er, sometime on Sunday, probably morning-ish. I know I was at the Thriftway in Estacada around 10am, add driving time to that.

Just got home, need to unpack a few things from the Bus and get pictures downloaded. We found a decent-sized patch of huckleberries around Squaw Lakes, a bit tart but tasty. Took pictures of mushrooms for future identification, picked up a disgusting amount of trash from the campground, made a fire, drank some brewskis, had fun.

Well, come on, it's been an hour since you got home. Where're the pictures man? :flower: At least let me live vicariously through them since I wasn't able to get up there. The weather must have been just about perfect.

Yeah it was a great trip. I really needed that. Beautiful weather and a very peaceful place with lots to do. I want to go back there this fall and explore more. It's nice because it's so close to Portland but very remote somehow. I like the Salmon Huckleberry area.
Sorry my kid took my camera usb cable home now I gotta go buy a new one...
How's your Dad feelin?

What kind of memory does your camera use? If it's compact flash don't buy a new USB cable. I have an external CF reader that I don't need anymore. My new tower has a built in card reader.

My dad is feeling much better. Thanks for asking. They couldn't find anything wrong in any tests they did. They concluded it was a bad reaction to some medication he's been on. Took him off of it and everything's all fine.

Got the photos on the computer and off the camera, but iPhoto's been freezing when I try to export pics from it. Maybe it's time to upgrade to a version newer than 1.1.1 ..

Plus, Photoshop is acting corrupted. Need to find where I put the installer. But I *will* get 'em up dagnabit.

It's a Fuji XD card, kinda old. The camera is gettin sorta ornery so I think it may be almost time for an upgrade.
