Austin, Texas to Upstate NY - Mid-June

Hi All,

My stepson is graduating high school in June in Deposit, NY (near Ithaca/Binghamton) and we're planning on driving rather than flying to make it more economical (along with the gift we'll be giving him).

We haven't decided for certain of our exact path, but since I want to visit a friend in Ohio and we're in Austin, TX, we may just shoot North that way and then head East to Upstate NY. We'll be in my PT Cruiser. Our usual route is through N TX, AR, TN, VA (to IL's) and then due North. We may come back that way.

If you are on or near our route and interested in a meet for a meal, to chat, or can possibly provide a floorspace for a night we'd love to hear from you. I know some folks will be heading to the Artic then, but we'll be heading East.
