Nehalem, Unsuperbowl

Post by deschutestrout » Tue Oct 25, 2016 6:55 am

We're trying to rally the troops! A23 reserved. Jasan is in, Wayne is in. Who else is going? Sites and yurts are already booking up. Hope to see you in February!

Who else is going and what sites did you reserve? Do you know if they're allowing two campers per site? I'm looking to double up with someone if it's allowed. Let me know!

It's possible, but don't count on it. Depends on the host and their interpretation of the regulations. I believe B loop will be open this year and there are always plenty of sites available there.

I'll see y'all on Friday when I day-trip out. I didn't arrange for time off work because my Bus is still on jack stands in the driveway. Damn snow & rain makes it hard to get things done when you're working outside...

Dudes like climbing all over each other in shiny spandex, soooooo fruity.
Not that there's anything wrong with that.
Still trying to get it together over here. Looks to be lovely weather for the weekend. Anyone cara-bussing out there?

Portland forecast looks crappy:
Thursday Snow likely, mainly after 5pm. Cloudy, with a high near 34. Breezy, with an east wind around 29 mph, with gusts as high as 47 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
Thursday Night Snow likely before 11pm, then snow, possibly mixed with sleet between 11pm and 5am, then snow, possibly mixed with freezing rain and sleet after 5am. Low around 29. East wind 18 to 21 mph, with gusts as high as 31 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New snow and sleet accumulation of less than one inch possible.
Friday Snow, possibly mixed with freezing rain and sleet before 11am, then rain or freezing rain. High near 38. East northeast wind around 15 mph, with gusts as high as 24 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. Little or no snow and sleet accumulation expected.
