This is a repeat to see if it is real or a really crule joke on us new folks on the IAC Thanks for the map Gypsie. At this time I find all things IAC suspect to folly. PM me please to a new attitude. Oh but never mind, all my pms to people I trust have been deleated - so I will wait for clearity to a path to take for communiacation.

I will seek the Sun that shines the brightest. No need for the massive EGO trip going on here. Peace, Barb

No prob about the map, Barb. Kind of a long drive for you methinks. Wouldn't be surprized to see someone wing in from afar though.
Hope all is well with you.

Here are a couple of pics of the trip. Zane and I spent night one...had to get back to the homefront. Awesome campground, awesome weather, awesome company! Great trip!

Bob and Jasan...the route I took out...not as rustic but very scenic in spots...2 miles gravel then paved back to town...took me 40 minutes total to get back home....nice to do the route we took in and then save time if needed taking the shortcut out

Spiff you missed a great one this time! The weather couldn't have been better for this time of year. The area and campground we were in was awesome, not to mention that except for one other group, we had the whole place to ourselves. The near full moon was amazing too. We've got to do this one again guys.

Here are a few teaser pics. I'll post more tomorrow.

What's a Wilson Spif? A fire that's made with wood that won't burn no matter how much fuel you pour on it? :geek: . Our fire burned just fine

I like to carve (very caveman like mind you) a little voodoo lookin' fire stick for campouts with friends and leave/give the 'wilson' away at the end of a trip.

Aren't ya sorry you asked???

Hey Mark, I just remembered there was a white bus for sale in Tygh Valley. We came down the way you did. It was sitting on someones property along with an aircooled Vanagon and a really nice looking early bay Riviera. I think there was a bug in there too. The one for sale looked pretty nice. I didn't get a good enough look at it to see if it was a camper but it was a hardtop. Maybe another one to add to the collection. :compress:

Yeah, that's a friend of mine. I actually used to own that blue '73 Rivi for a short time....grabbed what I needed and sold it to him. That provided the full width bed in Gus Bus. Needs some body work...door support pulled out and a new nose...more than I wanted to do. Solid, solid engine and tranny. The white one has some issues. He'd likely make someone a heck of a deal on both of them.
