Alright. Fall Midwest get together!!!

I will get firm dates, but the wifey is leaving me with the girls in late September and late October. Who in the midwest want to do some fall camping?!!! No bugs!!!

Let's all weigh in and I'll try and find a central location.

I'd be up for that. I'll have a couple bad weekends coming up but I'll confirm.

The "LEAKOIL" group (Lake Erie Kombi Owners Involvement League) hosts their Kombis on Kelleys event in early October at Kelleys Island (Lake Erie), Ohio.

Check out more info here. It's supposed to be a BLAST!

My son and new daughter-in-law will be in town before they move up to Montana. Let me check to see what their plans are. I'm not sure how much time he's going to want to spend with his old man.

Hard to believe you are old enough to have a married son...guess that's right around the corner for me....

If you are in, Hippie, I will pick a site on the western Illinois or eastern Iowa border. Do you have any suggestions? Turk was suggesting we take over Sabula, the same way the bikers took over Savannah when I was there.

I'm not familiar with those but I trust you guys' judgement. Just let me know where to be and I'll plan to be there unless some school related catastrophe pops up. :cyclopsani:

I am thinking about the Hennepin Canal Park:

Or maybe our old standby, Wooded Wonderland. I think you guys should really experience it dry!

I'm not sure that place has dried out yet. It's only been three months.
