Seems like I am always out of town for these swap meets! Can anyone grab me a late ghia convertible drivers side glass? Mine is all scratched up and I'd love to replace it with something I can see thru nicely. I come back the last week in April.

I'll keep an eye out. This is a general automotive swap, not VW specific...

And realized when I was at my class this afternoon that .. I've got a class next Friday afternoon, gotta be in Sellwood by 2:30ish. So either I've gotta cut out in time to make it, or we break tradition and go Saturday...

I'm fine either way.

Skip class! Man you guys are so dutiful.
Friday works best 4-me. I like the PIR one better anyway maybe we can skip those buildings full of fuzzy dice.

"Skip class" he says. No. Not after watching for months to find an open slot I could do, to say nothing of the $150 course fee.

I'm fine with skipping the Expo Center swap and heading straight-ish to PIR (MAX to Expo Center, schoolbus shuttle from there to PIR) .. just gotta watch the clock so I can cut out by 1-ish.

8:30 Friday @ Dancin' Bear. If you're late, catch up with us inside -- no waiting around at the for stragglers at the Max station.

Understand. Just poking you. Maybe I can find a cheap wiper switch for a '58 chevy. And 17 more VW moon hubcaps.
Maybe I'll ride my bike if I can find a safe place to lock it up. We'll see how that goes.
Probably just meet you inside, I may have to drop the kid off at school.
Looking forward to it!
A chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 57.

Scored some splash pans, a bus speedo cluster, a VW chrome window crank, and some 1980s points, all for about 20 bucks. I'm tired now! Lots of walking.

Picked up a NATO 20L Jerry can for $10, good condition inside & out and a 1954 date stamping in it, a belt-driven grinder with stone for $5 and some rocker switches that were 4/$10, Saw plenty of stuff I *wanted*, but since I don't have ten acres to store things or a million dollars to spend I had to pass...
