I'm in the process of setting up my original dual solex carbs (circa 1973). I have Amskeptic's procedures in hand, as well as the Bentley. One item neither mentions is the starting point for the central idling air and mixture screws. Two to three turns out, maybe?
Colin, have you posted the dual carb tune up procedure on here at this site?
Thanks, Tim

Ask Sloggo if he has slogged through my pdf + pictures article. It should be around.satchmo wrote: Colin, have you posted the dual carb tune up procedure on here at this site?
Bentley does mention initial positions ( 2 1/2 ) on the throttle body screws.
The central idling circuit, I just crank the mixture screw out 3 turns and the air screw whatever gives rise to the great sucking sound.
