I'm glad you're just sayin'. That certainly does imply that M9 exists somewhere. I'm glad I was mistaken. I suppose you could buy a 3/8 bolt, grind the threads off and use your Sears M9 die to re-thread it with the proper thread pitch. I removed the headliner (partial--it's a Westy) to begin some interior cosmetic rehabs as well as to remove the luggage rack to repair some cracks, replace hardware and paint. I'd gotten some 3/8" stainless #4 screws from McMaster. Removal of the headliner revealed I also need 1/2" and 5/8" screws. Who knew? Anyway, functional equivalent hardware part numbers for all three screw sizes and washers from McMaster-Carr are below if anyone's interested.
