Replacing slider door seal on early bay

Any tips on this job and do you have to remove door? That would be very hard for me. Can the rubber be carefully cut and glued down good enough? Thanks

Yes the door does need to be removed. Cut the seal and it will most likely leak. It's really not all that hard to remove or replace. Helps to have a second set of hands though.
