Plastic Wheel Arch Liners
How cool and safe is it to run the plastic wheel arch liners in the rear on our air cooled Vanagons?

Did later Vanagons have them? I wasn't aware of that. Have you seen them on later vans? Got pictures?
I think they would be pretty nice to have. It wouldn't interfere with engine cooling. That all comes in from the side vents. Safe? I can't see how they woud interfere with safety either.
