What causes windshield wipers to be slow on cold mornings?
My bus has this problem even in the summer, but now my 2000 Jeep is suffering too, but only when temps are in the teens or lower. The wipers take a second to start moving and then move slowly for a few swipes before operating at normal speeds.

I have this problem too. Do you mean the lubricant in the motor, or on the arm hinges/hardwear? Any particular place to put lube?vdubyah73 wrote:crusty dried out lubricant. Mine work better as the defroster heats up under the dash. They work best in rain once the rain has worked its way into the shafts and lubricates it.
