Bus Front Running Lights

Post by chitwnvw » Wed Aug 08, 2007 10:03 am

My front running lights don't work. I discovered two wires that went into one connector near the fuse box, but it was unplugged, and if power is supplied to this wire the running lights work. Anyone know where I am supposed to draw power from for them? I assume it's through the headlight switch, I just don't know which wires. Help. Please.

If it was me, I would use a relay to power the light, and save that poor old headlight switch the suffering of more juice running through it. Wire the relay power to the headlight sw, since it will take very little power to turn on the relay. The real power to run the light would come from the fuse block, or the battery.

If you tell me the watts of each light, I would be glad to calculate the amp rating of the suggested relay.
Best Regards,
John
