Hi Robert -

The pin on current OE production is solid and not rotating. I checked with
my contact at VOA and he said there was no reason given for the change (GEMO
Germany is the maker) or when the change took place.

Be wary of them. I don't have a transcript of the call, but when I called them to "talk" about my new Gemo clutch cable being THEE INCHES TOO SHORT they told me to "deal with it" since it was out of their courtesy time frame. Oh and they also sold me a steering wheel with a lifetime anti-crack warranty, and when I brought it in to them (cracked) he told me they never offered such a thing. I have a printout of the website to bring into them next time I'm in the area.

I think there are enough NOS rotating ones floating around TS classifieds for a small group of caring people, but I don't know what to do after that. Is there a way to make the late pins fit early buses? I haven't compared them, but there are more late NOS pins for sale I see.

Thus, lubricate well with high quality grease. Make sure that the pin and the clevis hole are smooth and clean before lubricating.
