Here's a poll about children and us....

One 5 year old (soon to be 6) here. She enjoys changing oil with me, but anything longer than about 30 minutes and she's off swinging or playing or doing anything but working on the cars.

She's great at oil changes though and takes her job (pouring in the fresh oil) very seriously. She's gotten upset at me once or twice for adding oil without her.

She LOVES riding in the bus. The Toyota four-doors are okay for getting somewhere, but the bus is FUN to be in (even when it's just sitting in the driveway and she's behind the wheel). Funny how some things never change. She's 5, I'm 25, and we both feel exactly the same way.

Some folks have warned me that around 9 little girls change... I look forward to it, but hopefully that change will involve her actually turning wrenches and not just holding the light and pouring oil.
