Why we love YouTube

Post by glasseye » Tue Nov 14, 2006 11:02 am

Just posted on digg.com: This is some of the funniest video I've ever seen. A convenience store robbery goes really wrong.

Funny stuff. I love YouTube. It's amazing how much time you can waste there.

Not youtube but google video. If you like fast Beetles check this out. It happens just before the halfway mark. This video is completely safe for work and safe for kids if it's ok for them to see someone driving really fast on the roads taking risks.

Accounts for itself mighty well. IRS splitty? With a Porsche 959 flat watercooled six with dual turbos?

The bus was doing a much cleaner job on the apexes than the Porsche, though by the sounds of it, the Porsche was just out on a Sunday drive.

Close, um, kind of. It's a '62 splitty body stretched and widened enough to sit on a T25 pan with 500hp of Porsche 993 twin turbo goodness to push it down the track. The driver definitely has skills to be hitting the apex so clean but I do agree the GT3 driver wasn't letting the ponies run at all. It sounded like he was short shifting quite a bit, but chasing 500 horses is no walk in the park either.

Here are photos of the build up of that "Bus" under Projekt. Pretty impressive fabrication to make all of that work.

I like sleepers like that. Take that to Vinnie's VW Toon Up,
hey Vinnie, can you give me a quick valve adjustment and oil change?
Colin

(did you ever see that Olds Vista-Cruiser that GM's Corvette engineering department went nuts over? It was so damn funny, the footage showing it at a stoplight with a Ford Mustang next to it, the Olds was. . . . GONE and the Ford was just slewing in tire smoke)
