It's been pretty dead here and at Samba & Shoptalk. Where is everyone?

My life has been sooooo damn busy lately! It's all I can do just to check in now and again. Membership is steadily growing we should have some new faces (avatars?) showing up in the threads.

My ol' lady has been getting jealous of you folks. Thinks I spend too much time with youses...

I was on vacation from the 21st-31st.

I've been doing too much lurking and not enough posting even before that, though- will try to step things up!

There is a seasonal aspect to these hobby forums. Just after the summer season I think there is a retraction until the weather socks people in the house.

I will be in touch with the troubleshooter visuals. . . . when I get my office set up.

Trying to adjust to the truncated daylight. Seriously, I have pushed myself off the couch and into the gym again....it keeps the energy up. I got used to getting alot done outside this summer.

This weekend at least, quite a few of the northwest folks are off camping at Champoeg State Park. I didn't go partly because I have to work, and partly 'cuz I went to the NoMeansNo concert last night (w00t! PUNK RAWK!)

But OTOH, work is keeping me from being on here as much as I'd like .. oh well.

I am missing Champoeg and checking in here only because we have a family obligation tonight and can't make it. Although, weather-wise, it's pretty darn windy and rainy - I'm watching the Ducks/Huskies game on TV instead in my nice warm, dry home.

I do a good job making it *look* like I have one of those "life" things, but it's a carefully constructed illusion. Please don't tell anyone.
