Single Mom looking for help?

Not sure I've ever come across such a request..... Do you think it's legit? If it is, it would be the ultimate form of karma to the person who helped this single mother.

Wish I had the engine and room to do the work - God knows how I love to rack up those karma points.

I see ads like that on cL all the time. I don't know what to make of them. If I was still in the area I'd check it out, maybe offer to help fix it, but I sure the heck wouldn't just give 'er an engine.

I would say it is a scam. If this is a poor single mom, she should sell it and use the money for a no-thinker car.
Up, up the long, delirious, burning blue, I’ve topped the wind-swept heights with easy grace. Where never lark, or even eagle flew. And, while with silent, lifting mind I've trod, The high untrespassed sanctity of space, Put out my hand, and touched the face of God.

Ain't that a no shitter. What I'd like to do is show up with one of those fancy camper specials strapped to a pallet. Ask to see the "single mom" of the house and when the meth :blob: head answers the door, show him the engine and tell him he needs to produce a single mom or this engine goes back to where it came from.

Wonder if we could get Jake Raby to sponser something like this....

NOT!!!!

The only known fact is that she supplies the "goods"; however, she may be looking for a baby daddy and should probably be avoided. If it were for the preservation of a '78 model bus, it would be worthwhile to assist this MILF-potential.

that's unfortunate that you have compared me to Howard Stern. My mentor in the above statement was Gene Simmons from KISS.

I'd like to claim the award for sexiest VWBR on the IAC at this time. So let's rock 'n roll all nite and party every day!

No sir, but I believe Gene's mother survived a concentration camp. The Nazis made the Jews wear flare, too.

I've seen that one before, kind sir, as I was a huge KISS fan back in the day. Now, I think they are silly Jews. :flower:

The funny part is that I wouldn't be surprised if Gene Simmon was what Howard Stern was shooting for, too!

I was rolling on that video!!! 1974 and people watching the Mike Douglas show were shocked I bet. And what is with the lame background music on the show? PU.
