You, too, Paul.

Did you get that gas leak taken care of? Any camping plans over the holiday?

I'm heading up to summerfest thurs. to see Donna the Buffalo, Railroad Earth, and then Ratdog that evening.

Then it's the Police on friday night at Wrigley, and then Mr. Blotto at Czar's in St. Joe, MI on sat. night.

What a three day stretch that will be!!

Have a great 4th! Stay dry!!

Tom

No time to get back to the firewall - perhaps this weekend???

I wish Blotto was playing in St Joe MI sooner - I am heading up to South Haven MI in about 10 min until Friday morning....

Have fun - that is a LOT of music!!

BTW - Milwaukee is all under construction.....

Any advice on getting to Milwaukee from O'Hare?

And what isn't under construction in Chicago - lol.

My buddies left early sat. afternoon to go to the DSO show at the Vic. There was a semi accident at a toll plaza on the IN tollroad (with a death) that made their two hour jaunt 3.5 hours.

I came up from Michigan City at about 7 pm and made to the Vic in 1 hr and 10 minutes! Caught a great 2nd set and encore!

I would take 294 to 94 towards Milwaukee/Racine/Kenosha. I drove my bus thru Beer City a few weeks ago and it wasn't too awful.

Thanks Ryan - I've lived in Mi or No. IN for my whole life and have never been into Milwaukee.

Any summerfest veterans have additional advice to offer?

Eat the fried eggplant and roasted corn. Summerfest rocks!...Thursday looks like a good lineup too. Have fun and use a designated driver.

Is parking pretty cut and dried? Any decent motels nearby?

No drinking and driving!!

Thanks Ryan! And yes, a fine lineup it is! At a great price! Umphrey's McGee plays at the same time as Ratdog, which is good, as all the youngsters will flock to see them, and the main pay stage has Bon Jovi. So Bob Weir and Co. will have our fullest attention!

Fireworks!!!! FIRE FIRE FIRE!
Up, up the long, delirious, burning blue, I’ve topped the wind-swept heights with easy grace. Where never lark, or even eagle flew. And, while with silent, lifting mind I've trod, The high untrespassed sanctity of space, Put out my hand, and touched the face of God.
