Yeah, I'm definitely a Porsche fan (and a Lamborghini fan) before I'm a Ferrari fan, but the sound of that 250's V12 is mesmerizing. They're both beautiful cars.

Yes, that wiper was displaying all that we did not know about aerodynamics . . .
Phil drove me as a 9 year-old in a Ferrari 275 GTB 4 Testarossa with the 6 pack of Webers and induction trumpets, and I have to tell you, no Porsche is going to touch that Ferrari for its terrorizing joy and testing the edges of physics in this Universe. While the engineering of the Porsche is more coolly brilliant and stands the test of progress better, the Ferrari had mad genius. Driven by Phil that fine fall day down the road that I had already travelled so many times into town that I knew its every bump, the sheer immediacy of the engine yowling through the floorboards inches from my dangling feet I will never forget.

I have only been in two Ferrari's and V12's sound awesome. A 917 is pretty amazing sounding too but that growl out of a 4 cam VW engine is a sweet sound.

Petro-mechanical sex.

So, Colin, are you on good terms with cousin Derek?
Truth is like poetry.
And most people fucking hate poetry.

Yes.

Hippie, last time I saw Derek was at Phil's funeral. I missed seeing him at nephew's wedding at my parents house in 2012 because I was doing this Itinerary Thang, so I'd say we're "distant".
