The LA trip commences...

Post by Xelmon » Sat Nov 09, 2013 10:45 am

So in a few short hours I will finally make my departure.

I think it's starting to hit that "I am going somewhere else...", as I woke up for an hour in the middle of the night.

Still, feeling pretty good. Car has new brakes, rotors, and head light covers so most things should be pretty safe.

As I said, I am looking at visiting around Christmas time. We'll see if that will actually happen.

Edit: Fixed 'em brakes...

I hope they are not tough breaks. You might check your brakes, though, before you depart.

Last nights "big shadow mountain", aka Shasta, seemed like it had some snow on it.

I am ufficially in the Smell-A.

I'll post the pictures later, there are some funny things I saw on the roads on the way to LA.

Also, here's a song that I believe is fitting. Yeah it is hip-hop, but w/e, I remember listening to this tune back in Hungary!

Oh that'll be at least a few months away, I took the Civic down due to how everything worked out with the "training" period and such.

On the flip side, if I would've had to choose between the Civic or the GMC in their current state, the Civic won hands down. GMC would've easily taken 3 days.

Today was my first real day, great times, and at this point I think I did the right thing by coming down. It is just that cool from the little I've seen. =)

TBH it hasn't been that smelly at all, then again it hasn't gotten hotter than 88... Since I've been here...

So, Colin, uhm... Why don't you live here again?

Here's my last portrait in L.A.

Success was ruining me, ask Cindy. She said, "you're moving to Holley NY".
I said, "yes dear."
