Yet another reason for all of our efforts, and the support of Colin and this forum.

I was about to answer some of the replies at the bottom of that article . . . too much to say, too little time.

Barb!! How ya been doin?? Hope you and Elwood are healthy and happy :flower: Been watchin some of the America's Cup stuff, pretty amazing to see a 72' cat doing close to 50 knots. But it's just hard for me to get into it too much. It seems like the true competitive sprit has been lost and now it's just win at any cost, like the cheating done by Ellison's Oracle. Just a bunch of billionaire's throwin there money around, but I have to admit that what they came up with is pretty awesome.

=D> Hey Kris, yet an other great story. I read it this am on one of the many online news feeds but I don't get all the comments. There g
reat and make me proud I have Elwood. I never lock him and because of all the press were getting ive noticed alot more attention.

Guess i had better look into fixing the locks :study:

How about that sailboat race----Im absolutly hooked on all the teck and speed and ect....Now there tied ---- I just caught the races today, 17 & 18 on my computer; don't have a tv. so I watch it online ---- Ellison even missed a important meeting today, I can not blame him, he is getting older and has mellowed out.

Thanks for asking about my well-being and Elwoods--- we are going slower but still going :thumbleft:

And yet another one.....

http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2 ... rticles%29

So I hear they are stopping production of an all-time classic. Not only is this the end of an era, it’s the end of a counter-culture icon. More weed has been smoked, more babies have been conceived, and more fun has been had in the Volkswagen Bus than perhaps any vehicle ever made. When people see the Bus, it’s almost impossible not to smile. It brings them back to a simpler time of no-worries partying

Oh my god, I am only doing 40 at this entrance ramp merge point?
What is that smell, burning oil?
I can't have only 55 lbs compression on #3!
This downhill has to level out soon!
Cr*p! Look at that flag whipping!
Only 23* high for tomorrow? I didn't get that exhaust leak fixed!
A cop! Open the windows! We gotta air this thing out!
