Well, the Lab hasn't died. I'll be making it in again tomorrow.

Still dialing in the Bus, running to the Lab gives me even more opportunity to datalog the ECM and see what the fuel trims are doing. Fun times, fun times...

My best friend's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who's going with the girl who spoke with Mike last night that he might head to the Lab tonight. Any one else, any one? Bueller?

I was thinking about y'all at the Lab when I was sitting in Pilsen drinking beer a few nights ago. Didn't get to bring much beer back with me, though .. stuff gets heavy in the checked luggage.

Yeah, the whole situation is kinda the pits.

Plus side is I'm getting stuff done around the house. Rewired the power feed to the garage and finally put in the 240V I've been wanting for years, going to be finishing the internal wiring the next few days as long as I don't run out of romex and wire nuts.

Aye, glad to hear you're productive too Hal. I built a computer stand out of backyard scrap wood, refinished my bus' belly pan, and have detailed the plans for a small still for personal use. :)

Maybe I won't see y'all in June, but I look forward to whenever that might be.

Garage work continues: replaced the last of the cloth-outer-wrapped 2-conductor-without-ground crap wire with either 14/2 (lights) or 10/2 (outlets). Yes the 10/2 is overkill but I already had the wire so why not. Also pulled 240V on 10/3 from the new sub-panel in the garage to the workbench on the back wall .. the all-new workbench that I had to build after tearing out the crappy old one to deal with structural rot in the back wall, which included replacing 53.5" of the sill plate, one complete stud and about 16" off the bottom of three other studs. Brought my plasma cutter home from Mike Boell's where it has been living for about a year and a half because it needed more power than I had in the garage. Also worked on the patio some, and am on the downhill slope of installing the new tile floor in the kitchen.

In things relating to the actual title subject of the thread, for the forseeable future we're continuing the "Virtual Lucky Lab" Zoom meetings on Monday evening. Same rules as the IRL Lab gatherings -- show up when you want, leave when you need to. 7PM until whenever.
