Fuel Injection Pressure Port Plug

Hi all. Sunny's previous owner saw fit to install a fuel pressure gauge up around the heater fan with a hose running down to the pressure port on the fuel rail. I'm not too fond of having a tube of pressurized gasoline hovering above my engine all the time, so I'd like to remove it and properly plug the port. Can anyone tell me the details of the screw/bolt that plugs the port on the fuel rail so that I can find a replacement?

He Sean,

The screw is a 7mm head M4x.7 bolt, maybe 7.5mm in length? There is an aluminum washer under the bolt head that crushes slightly to create the seal. I have used a steel washer once in a pickle, and it is still holding about 10k miles later… Solex carb choke-holder screws work well here, if you can tolerate the slotted screw head instead of hex. :king:

Welcome again to IAC!
