Pop-top seal compromised

The seal at the base of Bertha's pop-top has dropped in places and is flopping about, especially in the front. What sorts of adhesives have folks used to address the issue that have brought joy to resolving the problem?

Just get a new seal. I spent hours (HOURS!) scraping adhesive off from a PO that tried to repair a deteriorating seal. The new press-on seals are super easy to install (once all that old goo is off, ugh).

The seal itself is fine, it has just separated from the top. Contact cement?
