The wanker filled in & ground out all the seams. God only knows how much rust he had to deal with -- it's a British rig.

Could stand for a shortened oilpan for sure .. and a stock ride height.

If I am going to convert its to a 3.2L aircooled 911 engine never a watercooled engine. :angryfire:

Went over and helped Joseph pull the engines, then the heads. It was a voyage of discovery for both of us, but we managed slow but steady.

Found a bunch of grime on the outside and what seems like too much carbon on the inside.

It does look like a washer, but the engine is fuel injected. Is there anything "washer like" in the valve assembly that could have come off?
