I sold the bug, you know, back in '05 or '06. She's sitting on Bill's back patio in Kansas City, under an awning, undriven for years.
My bus is in a similar predicament, minus the sale, minus the Kansas City, minus the awning, and months instead of years. Motor bits all in the basement by the furnace. I just wanted at least one non-running vehicle to bring to our new, more upscale, neighborhood.
I am the non-attorney-white-trash-spokesperson for Welker Avenue, you know...which said avenue is "south of Grand [Avenue]" as they say in this town with a slight, faked Harvard accent...usually in the same sentence with "goddam Democrats moving in" as they peek out the corners their Levelor blinds at that atrocious "van" on blocks.
