Colin,
Hey brother, how are you!? Naw, I am just thinning out the extra stuff I don't need. I am keeping the NOS piston & cyls, thermostats, F.I. parts, heat exchangers...ect. Hey, maybe I should call the guys from American Pickers! I gues there is no love for the 1700cc parts I have. Pity, as they are fantastic engines. Maybe we should build one as a get home option for travelers. Totally used parts, save the piston rings & gaskets. Now this is an exciting adventure. Are you in?! :sunny:

Absolutely hang on to a 1700. Everybody always falls for the more power! bigger! trip in this country, but did ya notice it is the little guys who keep on kicking? The 1700 is the actual, the real, the truest execution of the Type 4 engine. Find me a perfect '72 Sierra 7 passenger bus and I will buy the 1700offerings.

Door Mirror (passenger hopefully) and the 210 clutch set. I can pick up next week. I'll be in Colorado Springs doing a job at Verizon. Any ideas if I will get hassled if I try to shove this stuff into my luggage?

Hmm. Now that i'm thinking about it. I have a pallet I have to ship back after the job is complete (tools). I'm really interested in some cabinets as well, just not sure about the transportation.

I may be interested in some of your 1700 stuff. My only beef is that I'm not entirely certain yet if my 1700 is still a 1700 or has been modded to 1800. Is there an easy way to tell? So engine noob. :rabbit:

Sorry I haven't been on here lately. I have 2 guys who have already spoken for the free parts. I will be cleaning other locations and may have more in the future, but no promises. The pass bus clip on panels that hide under the rear seats are hard to find, I hope the guy realises what he isgetting, but he sounds like a kid who is just getting into buses.
