I am curious about your breather dumping oil vapor into the charcoal canister? Is it vented to an air filter?

Optical illusion...the breather hose is actually right behind it routed over to the passenger side (atmosphere). I used to run A/C and rerouted the air hose you see from it's original fitting on the drivers side of the cooling shroud to up top. In the (After) photo it's better seen.

Oh my, that's nasty.
Does it have a filter? Engines breathe in and out.
