Itinerant Air-Cooled

My lefthand inner tie rod is "wasted" according to my mechanic. He was unable to find one and I found this: http://www.thesamba.com/vw/classifieds/ ... ?id=648855

Is that what I need for a 71 f.i. fastback? It seems like it, but the mechanic was saying it's just a little end with opposite threads. Didn't sound like it had bends in it. Are these truly NLA? I'll be getting the part number from him later today.

According to the mechanic, this is the correct part. Anyone know of a source for these other than the link I posted?
